Title of Contract: CWDC Share! 2008 Integrated Working in Practice
Date of Contract: December 2007 - March 2008
Tomorrow's Child Media and Consultancy were contracted to:
- Identify and disseminate examples of emerging practice in integrated working.
- Produce a range of high quality media resources.
- Deliver overall project management, consultancy support and evaluation of CWDC Share! activity.
Main objectives:
- To use cross platform multimedia tools, resources and events to promote and improve the culture of information sharing.
- To highlight common challenges associated with organisational culture change.
- To promote clearly the benefits of integrated working.
- To discover a model of sharing that can be replicated locally and nationally.
National event
The event, hosted by Tomorrow's Child, at the Regents Park Marriott Hotel in London on 5th March 2008 launched CWDC Share! Representatives from the projects, key stakeholders and representatives from the Department of Children, Schools and Families took a look at some of the lessons learned so far. Representatives from the projects shared their challenges and success stories. It was also an opportunity to reveal the additional resources that would soon be available to support the CWDC Share! project.

20 page magazine style report
This output entitled 'Sharing the Journey' provides a reader-friendly account of how eight areas are tackling obstacles on route to integrated working. Titles, such as: Making changes happen on the Isle of Wight, and Listening and learning (to parents) in Lincolnshire, provide compelling reading for all those involved in integrated working. The report is professionally edited and designed and printed on recycled paper.
Interactive online video e-book
This is a cutting edge interactive online resource bringing CWDC share to life for busy managers and practitioners. This is a flash encoded video report with three dimensional turning pages and video clips from mangers practitioners and carers focussed upon multi-agency working. The report entitled 'Sharing the Journey' contains additional video footage of project participants. This report is the first of its kind for the Children's Workforce.
